AirClean Systems launched its next generation ductless fume hood technology, Independence. Designed to manage gas phase filtration and airflow control, it features the company’s OS technology for constant monitoring of the unit’s functions. The system also includes a touch automatic safety controller that interfaces with the OS.

With its Silconazyne system, Independence incorporates more than 1000 types of chemicals and thermally enhanced-dual filtration, while using multiple gas detection methods, including PID, metal oxide arrays, acid arrays, and standard colorimetric gas sampling tubes to provide accurate reading of air quality, according to the company.
