Michael P. Sheerin

TLC Engineering for Architecture Inc.’s board of directors announced that Michael P. Sheerin, PE, LEED AP BD+C, has been named to succeed Debra Lupton as CEO of the firm. Sheerin is currently serving as the firm’s director of health care engineering. He will assume the role of CEO in early 2015. Sheerin graduated from The City College of New York with a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering and had design and contracting experience in New York City and Washington, D.C., before joining TLC in 1995. In addition to overseeing TLC’s health care practice firm-wide and his involvement on national health care standards, such as ASHRAE standard 170 health care ventilation, Sheerin has held key roles in the design of many award-winning projects, including the Fort Benning Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Ga., and Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Fla.
